Some say Dice can be lucky, many have had something hanging in the balance of a throw of the dice and many have lost so much because of them.
Why are they important to me? Well we introduced these to add a bit of “what if” to things.
Take 3 dice, the first two are normal, and the third has been modified, it has 3 sides marked D and 3 sides marked W.
Throw the first two normal Dice and add the resulting numbers together, then throw the third, if it lands on D then the result is Days locks, if it lands on W the result is Weeks locked.
So for example, throw a 4 & 5 – result is 9, then throw a D and its 9 days locked.
We tried this and I managed to throw 11, followed by W…. OMG 11 weeks! My loving KH said “its not as bad as it could have been….” by 1 week. Using this game the results can be anything between 2 days and 12 weeks.
That was the 21st Feb… not even half was through yet, how the hell am I going to last?

Wow – exciting idea! Wouldn’t it be fun to add another twist to this – on the release date, you roll the numerical dice once more… if you get a double then it’s instant release, otherwise the dice show how many more days you get the pleasure of wearing it… repeat each release date until you actually roll a double!
All mischeviousness aside, I’d be interested to hear more about the practical side of this. With the model you’re wearing now, do you need to have it removed for cleaning each week, or can it stay on full-time? What cleaning is required?
I’m also curious about urination – that wing at the bottom makes it look like there’d be splashback all over your crotch. And how does taking a dump work out in practice with that bar in the way – do you have to avoid high-fibre foods or anything like that?!
Finally, what do you feel when you sit down, both on a hard chair and on your bike saddle? Is there a pressure point against your pelvic bone, how far underneath does the front panel reach, and how is the bar round to the back joined on?
Do write more about how you’re coping, though – I’m interested to track your progress and how it affects you over time, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Some good questions there, will try to answer them all.
Practical side – so far being released once a week for clean and check, and it takes time to adjust to cleaning properly, but according to tollyboy both from speaking to them and in their measuring guide, once settled it can be worn permanently! So far at each release I am seeing areas that I need to concentrate on more and adjusting each time. Because the tube is open ended cleaning is easier than other belts I have worn, as I said it just takes time to adjust.
Toilet functions – Urination, if you sit and just go, it can go all over your butt, full force has a habit of following the rear cable, so you can either control the flow or mop up afterwards! Dump – easy and no fuss, simply pull the cable aside slightly and its as normal. The steel cable is flexible and it attaches to the waist band by a pivot joint so there is enough movement to pull aside.
Sitting – its better to sit on a harder chair than a soft one, if that makes sense, a soft chair your belly pushes everything down slightly so you end up with more between your legs than on a hard chair.
Pressure – unlike previous belts there is no pressure on the pelvic bone, this was a big releif. The front panel extended underneath to just below your nuts, and from there its cable.
All in all the biggest problem with wearing a belt is accepting it, there is and always will be some compromise on your part, wrapping yourself in steel, something has to give and it wont be the steel! so you have to accept it, once you do that, wearing becomes easier.

Thanks for all that information. I have a couple of thoughts which I will also direct to Richard himself at some point, but I’d be interested in your opinion too.
Firstly, I have in the past tried wearing a latowski which I found on ebay and just happened to be an almost perfect fit. The main problem with it was that cycling was an absolute no-go, and indeed sitting generally was also fairly uncomfortable. Plus, it gave me a beer belly I didn’t normally have! BUT one of its best features was the way that it was built to handle urination perfectly. Sat down, a perfect stream of pee came vertically downwards with no mess or anything. A piece of toilet paper rolled-up could be poked up the tube to pick up the last drops if necessary. This excellent design has got me wondering whether any kind of channelling could be added to the Tollyboy.
My thoughts at the moment are some kind of removable part which you fit onto the end of the tube either all day (but it can easily be taken off for cleaning without removing any part of the belt) or just before you sit down to pee. Working as a small funnel it would be positioned to catch the whole flow and then direct it correctly downwards rather than backwards and/or all over the wearer. I’m not sure how it would interact with those wings, or how much space there would be for it… another thought I have had is that the wing could be re-shaped into some kind of funnel and thus perform that role as well as its existing role. What do you think? Could it work? Would it be practical?
My second thought is about waistbands… I apparently have a greatly fluctuating waist as I have a healthy appetite and irregular exercise patterns (which are sometimes dictated by influences beyond my control). I also wear all my trousers and pants resting more on my hip bones than around my waist. I’m therefore strongly attracted to the idea of a band around my hip area rather than the waist – it’s a less squishy area and less susceptible to fluctuations, and the belt is less likely to be seen if a t-shirt flaps up or something. I noted that other belts offer a hipband alternative but Tollyboy does not. From your experience of how the belt works, is it obvious why that is not an option with this belt, or is it just a case of asking for a custom model?
I’d be really interested in your thoughts on those two points, and I very much appreciate the time you’ve taken to blog about your experiences thus far, and to answer my previous questions.
By my calculations you’re due out a month from now – on May 9 – hang in there!

Sounds good to me.
I am sure the eleven weeks will do you good. Mind you, I like emku’s idea. As things are you have a guaranteed maximum. With emku’s variation, you have much more uncertainty, and no assurance of release till you make the throw: you still have one chance in six. Meanwhile, I make it you’ve still about three weeks to go…..

Hi Steelpants.
I was going to ask the exact same question about waist versus hip belts. I also have a fluctuating waist [actually no waist I guess] and normally wear standard low waist jeans so am quite nervous about getting a waist belt when I could get a hip belt (most likely from Neosteel).
The new penis tube looks great and certainly addresses my concerns about possible pull out.
11 weeks will be a challenge but I’m sure you’ll make it, you’ll have to and you’ll want to do so. I chatted with one guy on locknkeep who is in his belt till next year
Like emku says, please do keep posting – most interesting stuff.
Amazing this all started with a CB3K more or less by accident!!

Thanks all. I will comment quickly on the waist bands and wearing of. I have had a Neosteel hip belt, and it sat just below my trousers/jeans. This actually caused more problems than it solved. Because there was a slight gap between the waist band of the belt and of my trousers with movement, it could trap skin and hurt. With Tollyboys the band sits much higher at the back and drops at the front, it takes some getting used to but is much more comfy to wear.

By my calculations your original lock period expired a week ago – or did you earn or gamble yourself a few more weeks? What news?!?!

Oh yes and it was superb, and many since… unfortunately work and lifes ups and downs have got in the way of a relock, also I am a bit nervous about another xx week stretch! enjoying my freedom while I can…!
