Last night was great, nothing beats a Thursday night out in London, so many do it each and every week, and its always so busy. Soho was bursting and so were the pubs and clubs.
L and I met for drinks, and managed to polish off quite an amount, and we actually got on to the subject of other halfs. L asked me how long I had been married, and was surprised at the answer, then came the “have you ever cheated”, to this I replied NO, quite simply and absolutely NO, he explained he never had, but when I said I never ever would, he asked “how can you be so sure”.
I did try to explain that I love my wife, always have and always will, and no matter what, I would never do it, its not me for a start, and yes at the moment my wife has that extra assurance!
We talked some more, and it came back to “but what if?”, I replied with “look even if it ever came up, I know hand on heart I couldn’t, emotionally I know I could never, but now physically I could not”…. “eh?”
So the reveal happened, I told L about the journey we have been on, where we had been and how we got here. He was amazed, and for a second or two actually considered it for himself! He did say he was going to show his otherhalf, if that was the drink talking or not I guess I may find out…! I gave L the address for my blog, and said if you are serious, or considering, read my blog and see what you think, get your otherhalf to read it, and if you feel its for you then go for it…!
We shall see… could I have converted another free male?
